WordPress Tutorials: WordPress-Edit Category

Now, we will learn the simple steps to Edit Categories in WordPress.

The following steps show how to edit a category.

Step-1:  Click on Posts → Categories in WordPress.

Step-2: You can see the Category (WordPress) on the right side of the page [ category- WordPress was created in topic WordPress-Add Category]. When you move the cursor over the categories, then a few options get displayed i.e; edit & quick edit.

Edit: Click on the Edit button in categories.

Edit any of the required fields, and then click the Update button.

Quick Edit: Click on the Quick Edit button in categories.

You can only edit the Name and Slug of the category here. After filling the information’s press Update Category.
